The Terril des Argales is a bathing water located in Rieulay, a commune in northern France. The water body was formed following the subsidence of a former coal mining slag heap, which caused the water table to rise and create a 33-hectare lake. The bathing zone covers approximately 2,000 m² with a sandy substrate and an average water depth of 1 metre. The site is part of a larger recreational complex offering sports, leisure, cultural and tourist activities.
