Lido Nazioni - punto A is a bathing area on the northern Adriatic coast in Emilia-Romagna, consisting mainly of a rocky shore with brief sandy beach sections. The area forms part of a 15 km stretch of coastline bounded by Sacca di Goro to the north and Porto Canale di Porto Garibaldi to the south. The site is of limited tourist interest but is notable for its natural value, featuring woodland adjacent to the beach. The bathing area has sparse visitor numbers and offers no facilities.

Comacchio, Ferrara Province, Emilia-Romagna region, northern Italy. Coordinates: 12.2518°E, 44.7647°N. Beach width is 0–5 metres. No parking or access infrastructure is available.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (reference years 2015–2018). Escherichia coli (90th percentile): 25 CFU/100 mL; (95th percentile): 30 CFU/100 mL. Intestinal enterococci (90th percentile): 20 CFU/100 mL; (95th percentile): 24 CFU/100 mL. No direct pollution sources from wastewater treatment or point discharges. No short-term pollution events recorded during bathing seasons 2015–2018.

Risks

Macroalgae proliferation (Ulva genus) occurred during July–August 2018 in the central-northern coastal section, affecting recreational use during biomass accumulation. No phytoplankton toxicity events were recorded. No cyanobacterial bloom events have been reported. Coastal erosion is mitigated by protective rocky shore.
