Water quality classification is excellent. The bathing water is monitored by the Region, Municipality, ASP, and Arpacal. No specific active measures are currently in place for treatment or pollution management.

Risks

Short-term pollution events from surface runoff via Torrente Magarosa have been identified. No cyanobacterial or algal blooms have been recorded in the past four years.
