Lido Moiana

Italy Lake 1 - Excellent

Lido Moiana is a bathing area on Lake Pusiano (also known as Lake Eupilii), located between the provinces of Como and Lecco in Brianza, Lombardia. The lake is fed by the Lambro River. The bathing area features a pebbly beach approximately 100 metres wide. Water quality is classified as excellent based on monitoring data from 2019–2022.

Lake Pusiano (Eupilii), situated between Como and Lecco provinces. Fed by the Lambro River (called Lambrone in the section immediately upstream of the lake).

Location

Merone, Como Province, Lombardia. The bathing area extends approximately 50 metres. Altitude 257 metres above sea level.

Bar and restaurant, sun lounger rental, mooring dock.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (reference period 2019–2022). No cyanobacterial threshold exceedances recorded in the last 4 years. No anomalous situations reported regarding macroalgae, phytoplankton, or potentially toxic species proliferation in the last 4 years.

Risks

Cyanobacterial proliferation is possible due to seasonal conditions induced by increased nutrient input, elevated water temperatures, and weather conditions. Potential pollution risks from unfavourable atmospheric events.
