Location

Soverato, Catanzaro Province, Calabria. The beach is situated in front of the town centre.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: excellent. No specific active measures are currently in place for wastewater treatment.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events from runoff in urban areas have been identified. Cyanobacterial proliferation has not occurred in the previous 4 years. Macroalgae, phytoplankton, and potentially toxic species proliferation have not been recorded in the previous 4 years.
