Lido Playa is a sandy-pebble beach located in Locri, Calabria, along the coast of Sant'Ilario dello Jonio. The beach features a geomorphological classification of a plain and alluvial fan coast. Sediment grain size on the submerged beach ranges from 0.18 to 2 mm. The bathing water has been classified as excellent quality.

Location

Located in Locri, Calabria, in the province of Reggio Calabria. The area extends 0.771 square kilometres and is situated in front of the town centre of Locri.

Facilities

Showers, chemical toilets, and access walkways to the beach are available. Animals are permitted in the area.

Water quality classification: excellent. No specific active pollution control measures are currently in place. Potential pollution sources have been identified at the mouth of Vallone S. Margherita.
