Located at kilometre 96.5 of the SS 106 road in Locri, Reggio Calabria province, Calabria region, Italy. The beach is in front of forested territories south of Locri town centre.

Facilities

Showers, chemical toilets, and beach access footbridges are available. Animals are permitted access to the area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. Identified pollution sources include the mouth of Torrente Lucifero stream and Vallone Abate Marcello valley.

Risks

Short-term pollution events identified as runoff from agricultural areas via Torrente Lucifero and Vallone Abate Marcello. No anomalous situations or algal proliferation have occurred in the past four years.
