Rossano, Calabria province, in the area of S. Angelo near the Fellino stream. The bathing area extends 1.573 square kilometres.

Water quality classification: Excellent. Identified pollution sources include the Rossano wastewater treatment plant discharge at S. Angelo, the mouth of Torrente Fellino, and the mouth of Torrente Citrea.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events from accidental treatment plant failures and overflow at the Rossano wastewater treatment plant at S. Angelo. No cyanobacterial or algal blooms have been recorded in the past four years.
