Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2013–2016). Escherichia coli at 95th percentile: 66.9 CFU/100 ml; at 90th percentile: 43.1 CFU/100 ml. Intestinal enterococci at 95th percentile: 24.3 CFU/100 ml; at 90th percentile: 17.6 CFU/100 ml. No short-term pollution events have been identified.

Risks

In August 2016, cyanobacterial density of potentially toxic species reached 107 cells/l, including Planktothrix rubescens, Snowella lacustris, and Pseudanabaena spp. Evaluation of cyanobacterial proliferation potential is ongoing. No effects from macroalgae, phytoplankton, or other species proliferation have been identified.
