Materdomini is a coastal bathing water area located on a rocky shoreline 500 metres north of a sewage outfall. The water is classified as excellent quality based on monitoring data from 2017-2020. No discharge of treated wastewater reaches the sea in this area, nor are there river mouths or channels that could convey pollutants.
