Mattsee is a natural lake with a maximum depth of 42 meters and a surface area of 3.6 square kilometers. It is the first in a chain of three Trumer Lakes (Obertrumer See, Mattsee, and Grabensee) that formed after the Mattsee Glacier melted. The lake is located in the Salzburg region of Austria and has a public beach facility.
