Mikoszewo is a bathing beach located in the Gdańsk Bay in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. The beach has a shoreline of 100 meters and is operated by Gmina Stegna. Water quality is monitored regularly throughout the swimming season, with classifications ranging from excellent to good quality in recent years. The beach is equipped with lifeguards and rescue facilities.

Gdańsk Bay. Shoreline length: 100 meters.

Location

Mikoszewo, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Nowodworski County. The beach entrance is located at the descent near the 'Formacyjnym' recreational centre. Nearest towns include Nowy Dwór Gdański approximately 4 kilometers away and Gdańsk approximately 3 kilometers away.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone, lifeguard, WOPR flag mast, toilets, waste bins, information board, beach regulations available for inspection, pets prohibited.

Season

3 July 2025 to 31 August 2025. Opening hours: 9:00 to 17:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025: Excellent. Maximum permissible concentrations: Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml, Enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. Recent monitoring shows mostly suitable water conditions. Cyanobacteria blooms and tar residues have been identified as occasional pollution sources in previous years. Suspected fuel contamination was noted on 12 July 2021.

Risks

Cyanobacteria blooms have occurred multiple times during past swimming seasons (2020–2024), resulting in temporary bathing water unsuitable classifications. Tar residues and suspected fuel contamination were detected in 2021.
