Njivice centar is a cultivated town beach located in Omišalj, Croatia. The beach features a predominantly pebbly surface with some concrete structures and extends 180 metres along a mild coastal slope with a wavelike coast. The beach experiences high bather density during the season and has an average sea temperature of 23.79°C.

Location

Omišalj. The beach is accessible by asphalt road. Paid parking is available.

Facilities

Café bar, shower, changing room, water sports facilities, benches, parking area, auxiliary facilities, trash cans. Floating safety lines protect the beach front.

Season

Monitoring conducted throughout the year with ten samples annually from 2009 onwards.

Water Quality

Water quality is monitored under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Assessment results show excellent quality classification. Systematic annual sampling has been conducted from 2009 to 2025, with ten samples collected each year.
