Fiumicino, Rome Province, Lazio region. The bathing area extends along a 722-meter stretch of beach.

Presence of nearby mouths of streams and ditches. Presence of urbanized area with significant extension. Mollusc farming activities identified. A suitable modelling approach for short-duration pollution events is still under study.
