Slanica is a partially cultivated beach on the island of Murter in the Kornati region. The 600-meter-long beach features predominantly sandy surface with rocky sections and is lined with trees. It has a mild coastal slope and is situated on an indented coastline with high bather density during the season.

Adriatic Sea. Average sea temperature 22.81°C during season. Salinity ranges from 32.5 to 39.9 ppt. Tide amplitude 29.1 cm. Beach length 600 m, width 15 m. Mild underwater coastal slope (less than 15 degrees).

Murter, Kornati region. Access via asphalt road. Paid parking available.

Monitoring conducted annually with 10 samples per year. Assessment data available for years 2009-2025.

Water Quality

Monitoring conducted under both Croatian national bathing water regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Annual assessments performed with 10 samples per year from 2009 to 2025. Final assessments based on 40 samples over rolling 4-year periods. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings.
