Neukirchener See is a bathing spot located on the eastern shore of the lake approximately 6 km north of Malente near the village of Neukirchen. The bathing area is subject to regular water quality monitoring as part of official bathing water surveillance. Water quality assessments are conducted throughout the bathing season.
