The Detmold beach is located outside the city centre on the island of Norderney. The beach belongs to the Kreisjugendwerk Detmold youth organization according to contractual agreements but is accessible to everyone. The long sandy beach slopes gently into the water and is primarily used by guests of the Kreisjugendwerk Detmold.
