Nordseestrand Nordbad is the largest beach resort on Norderney island, located directly on the open North Sea. The facility features two supervised swimming areas with a long sandy beach that gently slopes into the water. Beach chairs are available for rent both in the sand and on the promenade. Seasonal attractions include a trampoline facility. The beach has also become established as a windsurfing area and offers a beach sports program including fitness training, Nordic walking, and recreational activities.
