Annual water quality monitoring has been conducted from 2009 to 2025 with 10 samples per year. Final assessment periods show 40 samples over four-year cycles. Monitoring follows both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Quality classification categories include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor.
