Pineta - jug is a natural beach located in Novigrad, Croatia. The beach features a rocky surface with pebbles and is lined with trees. It stretches 600 metres in length with an average width of 20 metres. The coastline has a wavelike shape with mild underwater slopes suitable for swimming.

Adriatic Sea. Average temperature during season is 24.11°C. Salinity ranges from 32.5 to 39.2 during the season. Tide amplitude is 49.4 cm. Mild coastal slope of less than 15 degrees. Prevailing wind direction is north-east.

Location

Novigrad, Pineta area. Access is via non-asphalt road. No parking facilities are available.

Season

Monitoring conducted annually with 10 samples per year from 2010 to 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality has been assessed as excellent under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Sampling has been conducted annually with 10 samples per year and in 4-year assessment periods with 40 samples total from 2010 through 2025.
