The Otterstedter See, also known as Pastorensee, is located 1 km southeast of Ottersberg in a weekend house area. The lake covers 4.5 hectares with a maximum depth of 11 metres. The public bathing area is situated on the eastern shore of the lake.

Location

1 km southeast of Ottersberg, at the eastern shore of the lake. Located in a weekend house area.

Season

15 May to 15 September. Samples are taken every four weeks during the bathing season.

Water Quality

EU classification: Excellent quality (percentile assessment according to Directive 2006/7/EC). Samples are analysed bacteriologically for E. coli and Enterococci. Results from recent years indicate good bacteriological bathing water quality.
