Location

Trappeto, Palermo province, Sicily. Coordinates: 38.0743°N, 13.0559°E. The bathing area extends from 38.073°N, 13.0537°E to 38.0771°N, 13.0607°E. The responsible authority is the Municipality of Trappeto, Piazza Municipio, telephone 091/8788637.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2019–2024). No bathing prohibitions are in place. No short-term pollution events have been reported. No anomalous situations have been reported in the past eight years.

Risks

The area is located in proximity to zones of high anthropogenic pressure, with possible cyanobacterial proliferation events. Ostreopsis Ovata has been identified in the area.
