Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2024 complies with Decreto-Lei nº 135/09. The bathing water is not subject to any negative influence affecting its microbiological quality. No pollution episodes are expected. Short-term pollution risk is low or unlikely. No days of bathing advisories or prohibitions due to short-term pollution occurred during the 2024 bathing season.

Risks

Cyanobacteria, macroalgae, and phytoplankton proliferation are all unlikely. No alert system is implemented due to low pollution risk based on historical water quality data.
