Season

June 12 to September 12 (2021 season). Sampling conducted triweekly.

Water Quality

Water quality classified in 2020 under Decreto-Lei 135/09. No significant microbiological pollution sources identified near the bathing water. No history of short-term pollution events. Zero days of bathing advisories or prohibitions due to short-term pollution in bathing season 2020.

Risks

Potential for cyanobacteria, macroalgae, and phytoplankton proliferation all assessed as unlikely.
