Poland Lake 1 - Excellent

Piaszczyste Lake is located in the Gwda river valley near Piła, in the direction of Trzcianka. The lake has water purity class II. The bathing area has a designated swimming zone in the water and a beach recreation area. A lifeguard and WOPR flag mast are present on site.

Jezioro Piaszczyste (Piaszczyste Lake). Surface area approximately 5.6 hectares. Average depth 3.5 metres. Maximum depth 5.8 metres.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015). All monitoring results show water suitable for bathing. Maximum permitted concentrations: Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml; Enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. Most recent tests (13 August 2025) recorded E. coli 161 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci 35 CFU/100 ml.
