Water Quality

Classification: Excellent. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations were monitored from 2008 to 2010. No historical contamination precedents identified. Adjacent shellfish production zone GAL 08/01 (Ría de Muros-Noia) classified as Zone B with no contamination precedents.

Risks

Short-duration contamination risk from occasional discharges associated with precipitation: not significant. Localized discharge risk: not identified.
