Water Quality

The bathing zone is classified as excellent. The water mass (Muros) is in good ecological status. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations have remained within excellent classification thresholds across monitoring years 2008–2010.

Risks

No significant contamination risk from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events. No pollution risks identified from localised discharges.
