Water Quality

Microbiological monitoring data available for E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations from 2008–2010. The water mass has been classified with poor status. The adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 10/05 Ría de Pontevedra Port/B) is classified as Zone B with no historical contamination records.

Risks

No significant risk identified from occasional discharges associated with precipitation episodes. No localized discharge risks identified.
