Cala Comte is a natural bathing beach on Ibiza in the Balearic Islands with fine sand. The beach is 63 metres long and 45 metres wide with a medium slope and experiences water currents. It attracts high daily visitor numbers, predominantly tourists, for recreational use.

Natural free-water bathing area. The beach is 63 metres long and 45 metres wide with a medium slope. Water currents are present. The water mass is identified as EIMC01M2, spanning from Punta Jondal to Cap Mossons.

Location

Located on the island of Ibiza in the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia in the Balearic Islands. Pedestrian access is good. Vehicle access is good with regular parking availability.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is Excellent for 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Short-duration pollution episodes occurred once in 2019 and once in 2022, both lasting less than 72 hours. No exceptional pollution episodes exceeding 72 hours were recorded. Identified pollution sources include septic tanks and vessels. Water body status is classified as Good for 2007–09, 2018–19, and 2022–23.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish occurrences. No history of phytoplankton or cyanobacteria proliferation.
