Cala Llombards is a natural sandy beach located on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The beach is 55 meters long and 150 meters wide with a gentle slope and fine sand. It is a free-access recreational bathing area used daily by local residents with high visitor numbers. The water is characterized by the absence of currents, whirlpools, and undertow.

Free-access bathing water in the Mediterranean. The beach measures 55 meters in length and 150 meters in width with a gentle slope. The water body is classified as MAMC11M (Cala Figuera to Cala Beltrán water mass).

Location

Located in the municipality of Santanyí on Mallorca, Balearic Islands. Parking is available. No pedestrian promenade or wheeled access, but disabled access is good.

Water quality was classified as Excellent in 2019 and 2020, Good in 2021 and 2022. The most recent classification for 2022–2023 is Moderate. No short-duration pollution episodes (<72 hours) or exceptional pollution episodes (>72 hours) were recorded from 2019 to 2022. Identified pollution sources include septic tanks, boats, and rainwater runoff.

Risks

Jellyfish present occasionally. No history of phytoplankton or cyanobacteria proliferation.
