Cala Mondragó is a natural bathing beach located on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The beach is 75 meters long and 60 meters wide with fine sand and a gentle slope. It is a free-access recreational bathing area with high visitor numbers, primarily used by non-local users on a daily basis. The water has no currents, whirlpools, or rip tides.

The bathing area is located in the municipality of Santanyí on Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. Pedestrian access is available and rated as good. Disabled access is available and rated as good. Parking is available and rated as good. There is no vehicle access to the beach itself.

Lifeguards are present. Disabled access is available. No promenade is present at this location.

Water Quality

Water quality classification 2022–2023: Good. Annual quality ratings were Excellent (2019–2020) and Good (2021–2022). Short-duration pollution episodes (under 72 hours) occurred twice in 2022. No exceptional pollution episodes lasting over 72 hours were recorded. Floating waste accumulation was classified as low in 2022. Identified pollution sources include septic tanks and vessels. Potential point discharges are associated with EBAR conduits.

Risks

Jellyfish blooms are occasional. No history of phytoplankton proliferation or cyanobacteria blooms.
