Water quality classification is Excellent for 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. The water body state was Good in 2007–09, Good in 2018–19, and Good in 2022–23. Short-duration contamination episodes: zero recorded in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Exceptional contamination episodes (>72 hours): zero recorded in all years. Identified pollution sources include a wastewater treatment plant (EDAR) outfall 1.4 kilometres away, septic tanks, boat discharges, and rainwater runoff.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish occurrences. No history of harmful algal blooms or cyanobacteria proliferation.
