Calas Orientales is a natural coastal bathing water located in Nerja, Málaga, along the Mediterranean coast of Andalusia. The beach stretches 210 metres in length with a mean width of 20 metres and comprises dark sand. It experiences moderately exposed conditions with moderate wave heights and a micromareal tidal range of 0–2 metres. The beach is lightly occupied and relatively isolated, with easy access on foot or by car.

Coastal Mediterranean water influenced by Atlantic waters. Deep waters with sandy mud substrate. Micromareal tidal range of 0–2 metres. Current regime dominates towards the northeast. Wave exposure is moderate, with dominant waves from the east and east-southeast associated with levante wind.

Location

Nerja, Málaga province, Andalusia. Located along the Málaga coastline between Rincón de la Victoria and the Maro Cliffs National Park boundary. Access is on foot or by car.

Showers available. Waste bins and cleaning service present. No lifeguards. No toilets. No disabled access. No danger signage. No Red Cross post. Signalling present. Sailing club available. Marina del Este nearby.
