Cenicero - Las Lindes is a natural coastal bathing water located in Torrox, Málaga, along the Mediterranean coast. The beach stretches for 1200 metres with an average width of 40 metres and features dark sand. Water conditions typically include moderate wave action with depths classified as deep water. The bathing area is moderately exposed to waves, predominantly from the east and southeast due to Levante wind conditions.

Mediterranean Sea coastal water. Water mass 610001 (Rincón de la Victoria - Maro Cliffs National Park Boundary). Deep water with muddy sand substrate. Micromareal tidal range (0-2 m). Currents dominant toward the northeast. Annual precipitation 400-600 mm. Moderate wave exposure with dominant easterly and east-southeastern wave regime.

Location

Torrox, Málaga, Andalusia, Spain. The bathing water extends between coordinates 411836/4065982 and 413086/4065439 (ETRS89 zone 30). Vehicle access is available to the beach.

Facilities

Red Cross post, rescue equipment, signage, walkways, disabled access, toilets, showers, waste bins, cleaning service, water sports equipment rental. No lifeguard tower. No protected marine area. No scuba diving zone. No nautical club.

Water quality classification: Excellent for monitoring seasons 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Risk assessment: short-duration pollution sources include diffuse sources from land use, built surfaces and altered surfaces in the influence zone. Rivers Madre and Ayo del Capitán are hydrological features in the area.
