Playa de Cabo Cervera is a closed cove beach located in Torrevieja, Alicante, in the Valencian Community of Spain. The beach has a rocky and sandy composition with a shoreline length of 64.1 metres and average width of 25.2 metres. It is bounded to the north by Playa Torrelamata and to the south by Playa Cala del Moro. The beach features a small rigid promenade but no coastal defence structures.

Water quality is classified as Excellent. Monitoring results from 2020–2023 show Excellent classification. The water mass is categorized as Coastal (CW) with moderate overall status. No direct discharges to the coastline affect water quality. Weekly inspections during bathing season assess visual parameters, water appearance, and sand cleanliness.

Risks

Potential short-term contamination factors from rainfall (low frequency, mild impact), urban sewerage (low frequency, mild impact), and direct coastal discharges (low frequency, mild impact). Rivers/canals, industrial installations, port facilities, and diffuse pollution all present with low frequency and mild impact. Phytoplankton proliferation is a natural phenomenon that can occur in zones with low water renewal.
