Playa de la Albufereta is a bathing beach located in Alicante municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. It is an open cove configuration beach without coastal defence structures, bordered to the north by Playa de l'Almadrava and to the south by Playa del Postiguet. The beach has a rigid promenade and measures 452.7 metres along the high tide line with an average width of 30.8 metres. The beach composition is rocky and sandy with an artificial origin, and features a beach/cliff form.

Alicante municipality, Alicante province, Valencian Community, Spain. The beach is accessed via municipal roads with parking available. Disabled access is provided.

Water Quality

Water body classification: poor ecological status. Monitoring point established in 1987. Weekly inspections conducted during swimming season (1 June to 15 September) assess visual inspection parameters and water quality. No direct coastal discharge points affect water quality. Urban wastewater treatment is managed through two treatment plants (EDAR Alacant-Rincón de León and EDAR Alacant-Monte Orgegia) with submarine outfalls.
