Playa de La Malva-Rosa is a bathing beach located in Valencia, Spain, in the Valencian Community. It is an open longitudinal configuration beach with a rigid seafront promenade. The beach has a high density of bathers during the bathing season and is situated between the municipality of Alboraya to the north and Playa del Cabañal to the south.

Valencia, Spain. The beach is located in the municipality of Valencia, province of Valencia, in the Valencian Community. Access to the beach is available, including disabled access and parking facilities.

Lifeguards and rescue services available. Showers and foot baths available. Public toilets (free) and non-free toilets in beach bars. Waste bins including selective waste bins. Beach buoys present. Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The bathing water is classified as belonging to the Júcar Hydrographic Demarcation, coastal mass of water category, typology 5. Water status is good. Monitoring point Instituto Isabel de Villena (established 1988) is used for water quality assessment. Weekly inspections are conducted during the bathing season evaluating water analysis, water appearance, and sand cleanliness.

Risks

One direct discharge point: Acequia de Vera (natural channel, mixed origin, 12 m width, intermittent frequency, low risk classification) located at the southern boundary. Urban wastewater treatment systems include multiple EDARs (Valencia-Pinedo 1, Valencia-Pinedo 2, Valencia-El Saler, Valencia-El Palmar, Valencia-Perellonet) with submarine outfalls.
