Marineta Cassiana is an urban beach located in Denia, Alicante, in the Valencian Community. The beach has a closed cove configuration with perpendicular breakwaters and a rigid promenade. It measures 977 meters along the high tide line with an average width of 17.4 meters and is composed of rocks and sand. The beach is bordered to the north by Denia's port zone and to the south by Les Rotes beach.

Location

Denia, Alicante province, Valencian Community, Spain. Access by car is available with parking facilities. The beach is located at Calle De Casiopea according to the monitoring point designation.

Facilities

Lifeguards, public restrooms (free), showers and foot baths, accessible facilities with accessible point service, parking, beach bar/snack bar, waste bins and selective recycling, buoys and marking system. Additional activities include scooter rental, loungers, and umbrellas.

Water Quality

Water body status classified as Good. Monitoring data available for 2020–2023 with classifications of Excellent, Good, Sufficient, and Insufficient. Weekly visual inspections conducted during bathing season assess water analysis, water appearance, and sand cleanliness. No direct discharges to the coastline affecting water quality.
