Playa Es Carregador is an artificial beach located on Mallorca in the Balearic Islands. The beach stretches 309 meters in length with a width of 81 meters and features fine sand with a gentle slope. It is a free-access recreational bathing area with high visitor numbers, primarily from non-local users on a daily basis.

Free-access bathing water. The water body is designated as mass MAMC16M3, located in the area between Cala Major and Cala Falcó. No currents, whirlpools, or undertows are present. The seabed is fine sand with a gentle slope.

Location

Calviá municipality, Mallorca, Balearic Islands. Pedestrian access is good. Disabled access is available and good. Vehicle access is good. Parking is available and good. A promenade is present.

Facilities

Lifeguard coverage is indicated through emergency services (112). Toilets, showers, and disabled access facilities are available. Flags are in use. Information point available.

Water Quality

Annual water quality classification for 2022 is Excellent. Quality status for 2018–19 was Acceptable and for 2022–23 was Good. No short-duration pollution episodes (<72 hours) were recorded in 2019–2022. No exceptional pollution episodes (>72 hours) were recorded in 2019–2022. Identified pollution sources include accidental sewer blockages, vessel discharge, private first-line impulse systems, and surface runoff. Floating waste accumulation for 2022 was low.
