Playa de Racó de l'Albir is a maritime bathing beach located in Alfas del Pi, Alicante province in the Valencian Community, Spain. The beach has a longitudinal open configuration with a rigid boardwalk and no defensive structures. It is bordered to the north by Playa Cap Blanc and to the south by Serra Gelada Natural Park. The beach is 631.3 meters long with an average width of 55.1 meters and is composed of boulders with artificial origin. The water body is coastal with low tidal range.

Potential contamination factors (rivers, industrial facilities, port facilities, diffuse pollution) all assessed as low frequency with slight impact. No environmental control point established due to absence of direct coastal discharges or urban sewage connections that could affect water quality.

Risks

Occasional esporadic discharge from mixed-type (rainwater and urban) collector drains (Colectores Pluviales Playa L Alfas) into a natural ravine 50 meters from the beach center with high risk classification. Low frequency risk from rainfall, urban sewage systems, and coastal discharges. Natural algal blooms and jellyfish proliferation possible but not detected in the area. Cyanobacteria proliferation does not occur habitually in coastal waters.
