Location

Mallorca, Andratx municipality, Balearic Islands, Spain. The beach is located to the left of the breakwater.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2022–2023 is good. Annual classifications: 2019 good, 2020 good, 2021 good, 2022 sufficient. Short-duration pollution episodes (less than 72 hours): 2019 zero, 2020 two, 2021 zero, 2022 four. Exceptional episodes (over 72 hours): 2019 one, 2020 zero, 2021 one, 2022 two. Identified pollution sources include septic tanks and boat discharges. Floating waste accumulation is rated as very low, medium, very high, and medium for successive years respectively.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish. No known phytoplankton or cyanobacteria proliferation history.
