Location

Illa de Ons, Bueu municipality, Pontevedra province, Galicia. The reference locality is Portonovo. UTM coordinates: 505781 X, 4691889 Y (European Datum 1950, UTM 29N).

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The bathing zone is classified as excellent based on microbiological parameters. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations showed favourable trends from 2008 to 2010. Water mass ecological status is good.
