Es Cavallet is a natural sandy beach located on Ibiza in the Balearic Islands. The beach extends 1,106 metres in length with a width of 16 metres and features fine sand with a gentle slope. It is a free-access recreational bathing area used primarily by non-resident visitors on a daily basis with medium attendance.

The bathing water is a natural saltwater body with no currents, whirlpools, or rip currents. The beach has a gentle slope.

Es Cavallet is situated on the island of Ibiza in the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia in the Balearic Islands. Pedestrian access is good. Vehicle access is available and parking is available in regular condition.

Pedestrian access is good. Vehicle access is available with regular-condition parking. Disabled access is not available.

Water Quality

The water has been classified as Excellent annually from 2019 to 2022. The water quality status for 2022–23 is classified as Good. One short-duration pollution episode of less than 72 hours was recorded in 2022. Floating waste accumulation is very low. A wastewater treatment plant outfall (EDAR Platja den Bossa) is located 3.6 kilometres away. Point discharge sources include vessels.

Risks

Jellyfish are occasionally present. No history of phytoplankton or cyanobacteria proliferation has been recorded.
