Playa Mjörn is a bathing beach located in a shallow bay of Lake Mjörn, featuring approximately 300 metres of sandy beach and large grassed areas. The lake bottom consists mainly of sand with some sections of lesser quality. The beach is situated about 1 kilometre from central Alingsås and is easily accessible on foot, by bicycle, or by car. Beach volleyball courts and barbecue areas are available. The area is subject to urban planning work which may lead to future changes.
