Ingareds badplats is located in Lake Sävelången, approximately 10 km outside Alingsås town. The sand beach spans about 75 m with large grass areas. The lake has a sandy bottom and remains shallow for approximately 20 m before dropping steeply. A bathing jetty with a 1 m diving platform is available.
