Water quality classification: Excellent. The water mass Costa da Morte maintains good status. Microbiological monitoring shows low concentrations of E. coli and Enterococcus.

Risks

Strong wave conditions are present. No short-term contamination risks from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events or localized discharges have been identified.
