Ostende is a beach located in Castro Urdiales, Cantabria, on the Cantabrian coast. The beach is 900 metres long with a mean width of 50 metres and features dark sand. Castro Urdiales, Cantabria. Accessible by car via the CN-634 road. Parking available with more than 100 spaces. Interurban bus transport is available. The nearest hospital is Hospital Cruces, located 25 kilometres away.

Medium risk of non-compliance with the 2006/7/CE directive due to the influence of discharge from Castro Urdiales wastewater treatment plant.
