Playa Petis is a maritime bathing zone located in Bueu, Galicia, Spain. The beach is 55 metres long and 3 metres wide, composed of sand with moderate wave conditions and low visitor numbers. It is situated in an urban area within the Ría de Pontevedra water body.

Water Quality

The bathing zone is classified with an Excellent quality classification according to microbiological parameters. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations have been monitored since 2008. The adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 10/05 Ría de Pontevedra Port B) is classified as Zone B with no historical contamination records.

Risks

Short-duration contamination risk identified due to occasional discharges associated with rainfall episodes, with yellow alert level for precipitation intensity. No localized discharge risks identified.
