Port Sant Miquel is a bathing beach on the island of Ibiza in the Balearic Islands. The beach stretches 100 metres in length and 70 metres in width with a gentle slope and natural origins. It is a free-access recreational bathing area with high visitor numbers, primarily used daily by non-local users.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is Good for the years 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Water quality was Good in the periods 2007–09, 2018–19, and 2022–23. Short-duration pollution episodes (<72 hours) occurred once in 2019 and once in 2022. No exceptional pollution episodes (>72 hours) were recorded. Floating waste accumulation is rated as very low for 2019, 2020, and 2021, and high for 2022. Identified pollution sources include septic tanks, vessels, and rainwater discharges. Seabed emissions are identified at Cap des Mossons to Punta Grossa.

Risks

Jellyfish are occasionally present. No history of phytoplankton or cyanobacteria proliferation.
