Playa de la Ribera is a bathing water zone located in the southern bay of Ceuta, oriented towards the south. The beach is approximately 360 metres long with a water surface area of around 31,000 square metres between the breakwaters. The area experiences a Mediterranean climate with mild temperatures year-round, ranging from an average of 11.7°C in January to 22.4°C in August. The water exhibits normal physical-chemical characteristics for the monitoring period, with generally oligotrophic conditions and slight eutrophication signs attributable to anthropogenic inputs.
